Holiday Schedule

Elko Sanitation does not provide residential garbage and recycling on the following holidays:

• New Year’s Day
• Martin Luther King Day
• Presidents Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Nevada Day
• Veterans Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day

These are the only holidays that might affect your residential trash & recycling service.

If one of the above holidays falls on a Monday - Friday, everyone's residential trash & service will occur one business day later. (Example: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday customers will be picked up on Friday, Friday customers will be picked up on Saturday.)
