REAR LOAD CONTAINERS
- 2 yard rear load is 53” deep,
- 78” wide and 46” tall
- 3 yard rear load is 72” deep,
- 78” wide and 46” tall
- 6 yard rear load is 127” deep,
- 78” wide and 52” tall
FRONT LOAD CONTAINERS
- 2 yard front load is 53” deep,
- 94” wide and 46” tall
- 3 yard front load is 72” deep,
- 94” wide and 46” tall
- 6 yard front load is 72” deep,
- 84” wide and 72” tall
- (Front Load only available within the city of Elko)

COMMERCIAL WASTE COLLECTION
ACCEPTED ITEMS
Elko Sanitation will accept small appliances, bagged trash, boxes, food waste, paint cans (dried paint only) and small bags of yard waste as part of your commercial garbage collection service.
NON-ACCEPTED ITEMS
Elko Sanitation does not accept hazardous materials such as hot ashes, concrete, car batteries, animal carcasses, liquid paint, chemicals, dirt, rocks, construction debris, white goods or bulky items.
COMMERCIAL WASTE COLLECTION SCHEDULE
Elko Sanitation provides commercial garbage collection on a weekly basis, every Monday through Friday.
Additional pick-ups can be scheduled for businesses with higher commercial waste collection demands. Contact us at 775-738-3771 to let one of our Commercial Waste Collection Specialists help determine the specific needs of your business.
Elko Sanitation does not provide commercial waste collection on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Day
- Presidents Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Nevada Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
These are the only holidays that might affect your commercial garbage collection service.
If one of the above holidays falls on a Monday - Friday, everyone's commercial waste collection will occur one business day later:
Example: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday customers will be picked up on Friday, Friday customers will be picked up on Saturday.
